Sleep Diary: Morning Log — Support

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Help for the Sleep Diary: Morning Log iPhone app. Most answers are below; if not, email [email protected] and mention "Sleep Diary".

Fill from Apple Health

On the morning log, tap "Fill from Apple Health" and allow Sleep. The app copies the in-bed and wake times saved in Apple Health for that night; check and edit them, then tap Save. If nothing appears, there may be no sleep saved in Apple Health for that night, or access may be off — check iOS Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Sleep Diary. You can always fill the entry in yourself.

Restore Lifetime

Open the app's Settings → Restore purchases, signed in with the Apple ID you bought with. Lifetime is a one-time purchase, so there is nothing to cancel.

Ask for a refund

Refunds are decided by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Move your diary to a new iPhone

Your diary is stored only on your iPhone and is not synced through iCloud by the app. With Lifetime, use Settings → Export backup file, save it to Files, then on the new iPhone use Settings → Import backup file.

PDF report for your doctor

Open the report screen, choose the nights, and share the PDF through the iOS share sheet (Mail, Messages, Files, print). Free users get the last 7 nights; Lifetime adds 14 nights and a custom date range.

Ads and tracking

The app has no ads and does not track you across other apps. Details: privacy policy.

Diary lock

With Lifetime, turn on Settings → Diary lock and the app asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode before showing the diary. iOS handles the check; the app stores nothing about it.

The morning reminder does not appear

Turn it on in the app's Settings, then check that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings → Notifications → Sleep Diary and that a Focus mode is not hiding them. The reminder skips mornings you have already logged.

Contact us

Email [email protected] (or use Settings → Send feedback in the app). Tell us your iPhone model, iOS version and the app version (shown in the app's Settings) — that is all we need; please do not send payment details or your sleep entries. We read every message.
